Gravel Driveway in Houston TX

A rehab project with a small budget needed to widen and install a ornamental rock driveway

A mix of 60 year old shell and random rock 

Dirt driveway leading up to garage apartment 

Old Rock excavated and moved to low dirt area

Graded high in back to lower at the street 

Finished project - Rock will wash out to off gray - white color 

 The reddish brown tones are "fines" that set up 

and harden like concrete to support car traffic - area was hand tamped 

Start to finish in two 6 hour days
